How Maxine’s Pristine Clean is adapting to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

With the country eagerly awaiting their return to work after the coronavirus outbreak the topic of cleaning is becoming more and more important. Most importantly how can cleaning in the workplace be carried out safely for both the cleaning technician and the client but also the effective methods that will now need to be implemented. In order for businesses to gain back a little normality a lot of trust, communication and of course ‘staying alert’ will be needed. Trusting one another to report any symptoms and also trusting the correct cleaning methods are being implemented. This is why it is critical to use the right commercial cleaning company to ensure you can trust them.

  • At Maxine’s Pristine Clean we have set out simple rules to follow and are constantly reassessing from one business to another to ensure the best practices are being used by our team of commercial cleaning technicians. Some of the rules include:

  • Regular communication to assess both the client’s workforce and the workforce at Maxine’s Pristine Clean to ensure no symptoms are visible. Where symptoms are present that person will be asked to self-isolate for 7 days.

  • Keeping a safe distance – at least 2 meters apart.

  • Using disposable gloves to clean each area of the premises and changing them when needed to avoid cross-contaminating between different areas.

  • Wearing a face mask at all times

  • Disinfecting touchpoints – this is done on a regular basis for those areas that would be regarded as high-risk touchpoints such as door handles, bannisters etc

  • Each cleaning technician will be carrying out cleaning at a maximum of one premise per day -  once clean is complete gloves will be safely disposed of and clothes washed.

  • Disposable cloths will be used

  • We are following the Principles of cleaning as set out by Gov.uk
